Image Base64 Tool is built and maintained by the Image Base64 Tool team. It helps developers, designers and anyone preparing web assets convert an image into plain Base64, a data URI, an HTML image tag or CSS background code.

The converter runs in your browser without an account. Optional resizing and JPEG or WebP export happen locally. With those options off, it encodes the original file bytes.

It processes one image at a time. Available memory and browser support affect which images can be processed. It does not upload images for conversion.
