Our PDF attachment extraction roundtrip
We extracted specimen-notes.txt from both the original and the restored PDF, and both extracted files matched the original attachment's 73 bytes.
We created a PDF containing our own coloured shapes and an embedded text file. The original PDF measured 1799 bytes; the attachment was named specimen-notes.txt and measured 73 bytes. We encoded the complete PDF into Base64, decoded it back, and compared every file byte. We then parsed each PDF separately and extracted its embedded file by name before comparing that file against the original text bytes. The restored PDF measured 1799 bytes and both comparisons passed. These are measurements of this specimen, not a promise about an arbitrary input.
